TRADITIONAL CARTOON MUSIC
Filmmaker Guy Shahar wanted “traditional Warner Bros. cartoon music,” for his short live action film, “Mop That.” Warner Bros. cartoon music is more than a genre, it’s some of the best screen music ever written. To create that sound, we had to assimilate that voice, and inject our own as well. The result is a piece of music that has all the colorful layers of Raymond Scott or Carl Stalling and our own brand of feverishness. Opening animation by Jonah Tobias of Super-Size Me fame.
